Service and support to be supplied via Miami-based affiliate AAF Spares LLC
Paris, Amstelveen, 8 April 2014. AFI KLM E&M has officially announced the creation of a Miami-based centre dedicated to asset management operations in the Americas. Named AAF Spares LLC, the business is wholly-owned by AAF Spares Limited, the 50/50 joint venture set up by AFI KLM E&M and Avtrade in 2011. This established partnership has developed a range of innovative global aircraft component services solutions designed to fit with the requirements of airlines and fleet operators worldwide. AAF Spares LLC offers component support, including trading (sales, loans and exchanges) and Base kit leasing for Airbus A320, A330/340 and Boeing 737, 757, 767 and 777 aircraft to aviation customers throughout the Americas region.
Maximum component availability
Focused on customer expectations and the needs of the aviation market in the Americas, AAF Spares LLC will provide maximum spares availability using its own inventory as well as those of Avtrade and AFI KLM E&M. With a wealth of aircraft component knowledge and experience, spares management and optimization capabilities, combined with access to an efficient and strong global logistics network, the AAF Spares Limited subsidiary is able to offer an effective service and meet all the requirements of airlines operating throughout the Americas.
