Argentina flag carrier confirms strong relationship with AFI KLM E&M.
Paris, Amstelveen, 14 April 2015 - Aerolíneas Argentinas has decided to renew AFI KLM E&M's A340 component support contract and to extend it to the A330s which were recently added to its fleet. The long-term agreement covers a total of 15 aircraft, and includes pool access and component repairs. AFI KLM E&M and Aerolíneas Argentinas have had strong partnership ties for over a decade.
"AFI KLM E&M has handled component support for our aircraft for many years and has always shown its proven excellence and expertise on this aircraft," said Mr Christian Landriscina Vice President Production of Aerolineas Argentinas. "Quite naturally, therefore, we are entrusting them with the component support for our new A330s. As an airline MRO also operating these aircraft we benefit from the many years of gained experience and excellent know-how of their technicians."
Fabrice Defrance, Senior Vice President Commercial AFI KLM E&M, added: "We are very happy to be renewing this contract with Aerolíneas Argentinas. We are doing everything possible to satisfy the airline and sustain this long-term relationship. In particular, with our Buenos Aires based staff, we can maintain close contact with our client, allowing us to satisfy all its requirements."
