Latest mark of Mexican carrier's confidence in its MRO partner.
Paris, Amstelveen, 25 April 2017 - Aeromexico has decided once again to call on AFI KLM E&M expertise to carry out a heavy maintenance C-check on one of its Boeing 777s. The two groups have worked together on all aspects of aircraft maintenance for many years and in that time have forged a powerful, lasting professional relationship.
Long-standing partnership relations
The Mexican carrier most appreciates its MRO partner's ability to come up with tailor-made responses and to adapt in order to satisfy its expectations. To take charge of maintenance for Aeromexico's 777 within the allotted lead-time, AFI KLM E&M tweaked its production schedule to be able to accept the aircraft concerned at its hangers. Aeromexico is also well acquainted with the quality and reliability of the services delivered, since AFI KLM E&M has already carried out a large number of C-Checks on its client's Boeing 777s and 767s. The two partners are also linked via the 777 Component Support Program (CSP), facilitating the logistics aspects and ensuring the availability of the required equipment during the overhaul.
Mike Medeiros, Chief Operating Officer at Aeromexico, said: "We are familiar with AFI KLM E&M's aircraft maintenance services, and are well aware of their performance levels. So it was quite natural for us to turn to our go-to MRO partner again to carry out this C-Check."
Fabrice Defrance, Senior Vice President Commercial AFI KLM E&M, added: "This agreement forms an additional chapter in the long and fruitful history that connects AFI KLM E&M and Aeromexico. We are delighted to be able to assist one of our long-standing clients once more, and honored that it continues to place its trust in us."
