Contract includes Part 145 maintenance activity and modifications embodiment at AFI KLM E&M Toulouse facility.
Paris, Amstelveen, 25 September 2013 - AFI KLM E&M has been selected by Safran to support its test aircraft used to develop new systems. The contract includes maintenance of the aircraft during the test phases performed by Safran and all Part 145 modification embodiment and maintenance work. In winning this contract, AFI KLM E&M demonstrated its outstanding responsiveness by formulating an offer in a very short time.

Unveiled at the Paris Airshow, Safran and Honeywell's electric green taxiing system is continuing testing at the MRO's Toulouse facility. AFI KLM E&M's Senior VP Commercial, Fabrice Defrance, said: "This is the first contract of this type with Safran, which we are delighted to assist on a strategic project that is particularly demanding in terms of maintenance and flexibility"
