Former CRMA CEO takes over from Anne Brachet.
Paris, Amstelveen, 7 December 2012 - After two years as Chief Executive Officer of CRMA, the AFI KLM E&M subsidiary specialized in engine parts repairs, José-Marie Louis has been appointed Senior Vice President Engine Overhaul for Air France Industries.
A graduate of Grenoble's Institut National Polytechnique, José-Marie Louis started out in 1985 in a managerial capacity in the Operational Research Department of Air France's General Inspectorate, before moving two years later to the Boeing 737-727 Aircraft Maintenance division as a maintenance engineer. In 1988 he joined the Engines Division as project manager on the PROSPER Information system. Two years later, he was tasked with running the Logistics department of the General Electric Engines Division. Subsequently he was in charge of the High Pressure Modules unit at Orly from 1994 to 1997, when he was asked to head up the Engines Unit at Roissy. He remained in this position for four years, after which he became head of Business Development, Engines, in 2002, subsequently becoming head of the Production Operations Program between 2006 and 2010. Since 2010 he has been CEO of CRMA.
