Vincent d'Andrea takes over from José-Marie Louis at the head of AFI KLM E&M's specialist engine part repair subsidiary.
Paris, Amstelveen, 7 December 2012 - After close to two years as head of Business Development and IT in the Engine Overhaul division of AFI, with special responsibility for industrialization of latest-generation GE115 and GP7200 engines, Vincent d'Andrea has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of CRMA.
A former alumnus of the Ecole Centrale de Paris engineering school, Vincent d'Andrea went to work directly for Air France, in 1998, as a supply chain engineer. From 2002 to 2006, he was head of Hydraulic-Pneumatic Components Product Line, and member of the steering committee of Eole project. In 2006, he was tasked with running the Aerostructures business unit development, where he remained until 2009. AFI went on to apoint him Head of Engine Shop Production Progamming and Planning, after which, in 2010, he was put in charge of Business Development and IT. He remained in this position to date, notably contributing to the development of the new engine test cell at Roissy-CDG.
