Engineering support contract to cover three military (K)DC-10 aircraft.
Paris, Amstelveen, March 8 2013 - The Royal Netherlands Air Force (RNLAF) has renewed an exclusive contract with AFI KLM E&M in support of the continuous airworthiness and maintenance for two KDC-10 Tankers and - until end of operations - one DC-10 Freighter.
AFI KLM E&M will handle engineering support for the (K)DC-10s. AFI KLM E&M's role will consist in airworthiness and maintenance engineering, and program management. The work will be carried out at AFI KLM E&M's Amsterdam workshops. In the event of any one-off needs, AFI KLM E&M staff will carry out work anywhere in the world at the request of the RNLAF.
Rob Pruim, AFI KLM E&M VP Sales International, said: "This renewal is excellent news. We are delighted to continue working with the RNLAF. It is a very exciting engineering job. Our service history with the RNLAF goes back a long way and we have a good working relationship. We know RNLAF's aircraft well, which offers an additional guarantee of quality and responsiveness."
