AMES Celebrates 15 Years of Growth
AMES (Aerostructures Middle East Services) is marking its 15th anniversary with continued growth. After a dynamic 2024, the company is set to expand further in 2025, with investments in infrastructure, equipment, and human resources to meet the demands of a thriving regional market.
Founded and located in Dubai, AMES has become a key player in the repair and overhaul of aerostructure components in the Middle East, Gulf States, and Indian subcontinent. The company leverages the expertise of its parent companies, Air France Industries KLM Engineering & Maintenance and Safran Nacelles (a global leader in aircraft nacelle integration, support, and after-sales services), to offer quick and efficient maintenance solutions.
Thanks to this recognized expertise, AMES is experiencing vigorous commercial success and is investing accordingly to meet customer demand.
"The recent contracts signed by our parent companies demonstrate the dynamism of the region and offer us the prospect of sustained activity in 2025. This is why we have strengthened our capacities, both in terms of infrastructure and material and human resources."
Dimitri Fauron, co-director of AMES
In 2024, the repair workshop was expanded and equipped with new tools dedicated to structural repairs, particularly on A320neo materials. As a certified A320neo LEAP-1A nacelle repair station approved by its two parent companies, AMES has complex repair capabilities, including the replacement of major structural components of the nacelle.
"The A320neo license and the implementation of new dimensioning tools will allow us to go further in our repair capabilities, whether it is LEAP-1A nacelles, A320 radomes or GE90 fan stator modules."
Aymeric Verdier, co-director of AMES
The company also increased its workforce by 40% and accelerated training efforts to support the expected growth.
The AMES team will be present at the MRO Middle East on February 10-11; come meet them at booth #550!
