We keep investing in our infrastructure to make sure it remains at the forefront of technological progress, and that it is serviced by the best-trained workforce with proven processes. Of course, our repairs are OEM-compliant, and our customers know that choosing us to carry out their maintenance will boost the asset value of their engines.

Used materials: as good as new!

In today’s aviation market, spare engines and engine parts are a scarce and expensive commodity. AFI KLM E&M is able to limit risk by drawing upon the extensive inventories maintained on behalf of its parent companies and customer fleets. In addition, we are also leaning into the application of used materials, or USM. We have developed a depth of expertise in this type of sourcing, whether from intermediary specialists or directly from within our global MRO network. For example, our Miami-based subsidiary Bonus Tech specializes in dismantling and works with a wide range of engines. All our USMs are given a full servicing prior to installation, and carry a full certification history, from their factory issue to their most recent use.
