Fabrice Defrance
Senior Vice President Engineering & Maintenance Commercial
Joined Air France at the very start of his career and worked in the Air France Fleet Management department. His preference for aircraft maintenance, however, soon took him to Air France Industries. Over a number of very enriching years he has covered aircraft maintenance from every angle. An aviation enthusiast, he has served in a number of positions in Air France's aircraft maintenance arm, heading major overhauls for Boeing 747s, then managing the Europe/North America Sales department from 1997 to 2002 and latterly the AF Operational Aircraft Maintenance & Engineering department, with a fleet of around 260 long-haul and medium-haul passenger aircraft and freighters to take care of. In his position at AFI KLM E&M Commercial department, Fabrice Defrance concentrates on the full range of the broad-based experience he has acquired over the past decade and more on developing business for AFI KLM E&M, which generates a turnover of about 1,5 billion euros yearly of third party income.
