Through facilities like those in Kuala-Lumpur, AFI KLM E&M can deploy its expertise across the whole world yet in close proximity to operators, thereby offering responsive support and localised access, always with the distinctive insight of an airline-MRO.

Capabilities

AFI KLM E&M Malaysia is not just a warehouse. Of course, we do manage component stocks for Boeing 737s and 787s for our regional customers in Asia and Australasia, in order to ensure they get the parts they need on time, but we do so much more than that. Our core activity also involves processing unserviceable 737/787 components by creating repair orders and dispatching the parts to one of our repair centers around the world, or to our (local) suppliers.

Proximity: adaptive solutions at your doorstep

AFI KLM E&M Malaysia has 3 locations of operation in the Kuala Lumpur area. Our Warehouse/Repair Team is located at KLIA Cargo Village. Part of the Customer Support/Interface Team is located in our KLM Town Office, downtown Kuala Lumpur, and the other part is located close to the customer's operations, directly on site. We work closely alongside the customers in order to organise the transport of both serviceable and unserviceable components and respond to the customers’ requests, not just from our warehouse, but also by tapping into the capabilities of the service centers and repair shops within AFI KLM E&M’s global network. AFI KLM E&M Malaysia is part of a proximity strategy in the region. In fact, the Malaysia platform is a fully functioning part of AFI KLM E&M 24/7 MRO operations, and to this end handles requests from both local operators and AFI KLM E&M’s other customers around the world.
