We have a long background with the CFM56, GEnx engines and LEAP* (the «baby» GEnx). Choosing AFI KLM E&M means relying on one of the most experienced LEAP maintenance providers.

The only bad choice is no choice at all

We have signed a CFM Branded Service Agreement (CBSA) for LEAP-1A and LEAP-1B engines. Under the terms of the CBSA, we will provide the full scope of LEAP Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul (MRO) services for operators worldwide.

*LEAP engines, which equipping the Airbus A320neo and Boeing 737 MAX, are products of CFM International, a 50/50 joint company between GE and Safran Aircraft Engines

Based on our long-term expertise and know-how on engine life cycles, we are able to perform adaptive repair capabilities from early stage to maturity period of operation. LEAP engine is no exception and can benefit of our wide range of MRO solutions developed to support the operators ranging from inspection, Quick Turns (incl.hot section) & hospital chain to shop visits.

Keep flying, we know what to do anywhere

We are one of the first suppliers of MRO services to be able to assist LEAP operators worldwide in carrying out the on-wing/on-site work. The scope of these interventions is tailored to your requirements, and may include activities like, power plant build-up, borescope inspection, and line replaceable unit (LRU) replacement services, among many others. As an Airline-MRO, we have provided support for initial operations for new engines on many occasions for our parent and third-party client airlines. As such have developed extensive expertise for onwing/on-site work in particular, as well as building up skilled, experienced teams. Our extensive global line maintenance network means we can work very closely for airlines operating the LEAP engine, anywhere in the world.

Big Data for enhanced performance

LEAP engine operators can benefit from the «PROGNOS® for Engine» system. This innovative and exclusive solution makes use of operation data to track performance in real time and predict weaknesses & failures. Based on Big Data, PROGNOS® for Engine delivers significantly lower maintenance costs at the same time as it maximizes on-wing engine lifespans and avoid network burdens.

Better to know how to surround yourself

We can’t imagine a well-maintained LEAP engine without its nacelles well-supported. Under the license agreement signed with the OEM, we are able to provide LEAP nacelle support based on our extensive experience on new platforms industrialization and our long background on aerostructures maintenance.

Full capability

Our LEAP team is continuously improving its skills with the target to develop Overhaul capabilities covering the entire life cycle of the engine. This is an important factor for this still-young engine, which will potentially see many further improvements and innovations.
