AFI KLM E&M Announces Leadership Transition: Martijn de Vries Appointed Senior Vice President Commercial


Paris, Amstelveen, 2nd of February 2026 - Air France Industries KLM Engineering & Maintenance (AFI KLM E&M is pleased to announce the appointment of Martijn de Vries as Senior Vice President (SVP) Commercial, effective 1 st of April 2026. Martijn will succeed Pierre Teboul, who will retire after a distinguished career with AFI KLM E&M. 


Martijn brings a wealth of experience to the role, having dedicated a total of 25 years to KLM Royal Dutch Airlines in a variety of finance, commercial, and operational leadership positions. After earning his master’s degree (MA) in business economics at Amsterdam VU University, Martijn began his journey with KLM as a Finance trainee. Over the last ten years, he has held several finance roles across the Corporate, Cargo, and Engineering & Maintenance divisions and completed a MSc in Finance & Control. Transitioning to commercial and operational leadership, Martijn spent a total of 20 years within Engineering & Maintenance, including roles of increasing responsibility. Most recently, he was Managing Director of EPCOR B.V., a 100% MRO subsidiary of AFI KLM E&M, and since September 2021, he serves his role as Vice President of KLM Engine Services.
