The services provided to SalamAir will cover the repair and servicing of APUs, dedicated engineering support, and the application of the Prognos® for APU predictive maintenance solution.

APU expertise from an Airline-MRO angle
These services will be piloted and implemented by EPCOR, AFI KLM E&M’s center of excellence for APU maintenance and repair. Working for AFI KLM E&M’s parent airlines and third-party operators, EPCOR has developed in-depth expertise on the APU systems used by the majority of commercial aircraft, including the entire A320 (and neo) family. Thanks to its Airline-MRO profile, EPCOR combines technical and operational expertise in order to deliver adapted support solutions to meet the needs of airlines. By combining these attributes and integrating the use of in-house developed PROGNOS predictive maintenance solution, the support service package will address SalamAir’s specific operational needs of in terms of cost, APU availability and reliability.
