Paul-Antoine Vivet - Vice-President Sales, Americas
Holding an MSc in Aeronautical Engineering from the ESTACA, and a double Executive MBA from Paris Dauphine University and the University of Quebec, Paul-Antoine Vivet began his career in 2002 as an engineer at Thales in Los Angeles. This was followed by a 3-year stint as an engineer and project manager at Airbus; he joined Air France in 2006 as Purchasing Manager for Industrial and Logistical Resources. In 2009, Paul-Antoine began a series of varied commercial and industrial roles at AFI KLM E&M, including General Sales Manager for Eastern Europe, then North America, followed by Product Line Manager (Hydraulic and Pneumatic Products), then Business Development Director from 2019. In addition, since 2022 he has been Chairman of the Board of Directors at AFI KLM E&M Beijing Line Maintenance International. His motto in business: “First you listen, then you understand, and then you get it done.”

Serge graduated with an MSc in Electromechanical Technology at KU Leuven before completing his MSc in Aerospace Engineering at the Delft University of Technology in 2007. Pursuing his passion for aviation, Serge started his career in the KLM Fleet Development department, and since then he has held various positions at KLM, including roles at Ground Services and Revenue Management. After making the move to E&M he was responsible for the 737 Component Supply Chain for KLM and 3rd party customers, before becoming Strategic Sales Director for the Americas in 2019. Serge is based in Miami, where he acts as deputy to the regional VP. Outside work Serge likes to spend time with his family, discovering and learning new things. His words to live by: “Every day is a gift, so make each one count.”

Born and raised in Morocco, Meryem initially applied to be a fighter pilot with the Moroccan Air Force, but ended up moving to France at 17 to pursue a degree in engineering. After graduating from the ESTACA in 2012 with an MSc in Aeronautical Engineering, Meryem began her career as a technical office engineer in both private and commercial aviation. In 2016 she joined AFI KLM E&M in Paris, as a Customer Support Manager and Technical Sales Manager. Meryem is now based in Miami, and is in charge of sales for a large portion of the Americas region – a role she describes as “fun, rewarding and fulfilling.” Outside work Meryem likes to channel her energy into a variety of activities, from boxing and climbing to wakeboarding and kitesurfing, and she is passionate about discovering new physical and mental challenges. Her personal motto: "The best way to predict the future is to create it”

After graduating from La Plata Nacional University (Argentina) as an Aeronautical Engineer in 1980, Ricardo started his career at a military aircraft factory in Cordoba. His career in Commercial Aviation began at Aerolineas Argentinas Airlines (ARSA), where he would amass 36 years of experience in various roles and departments, including Power Plant Engineer, Engine Shop Manager, Components Shop Manager, A/C Heavy Checks Manager and Technical Director for Austral Airlines. Ricardo joined AF KLM in July 2019, taking on his current role as ASM for the Americas Sales Team of EMCO South America. He’s also a keen footballer and Argentina supporter, meaning he particularly enjoyed the last World Cup final… His professional mantra: “In every endeavor, teamwork is what gets us to the goal – so always try to be a key player for whatever team you’re in.”

Maxime began working for Air France in 2017 after completing his Masters of Science (MSc) in Mechanical and Industrial Engineering at ParisTech Arts & Métiers University. After spending 3 years in the Components division as an Industrial Project Manager and Repair Unit Manager, he worked in technical sales for airframes and aerostructures sales, and via this role began to explore the commercial side of the MRO value chain. Since 2021 Maxime has been the Account Sales Manager for Chile and Brazil-based airlines such as GOL and LATAM, and is currently based in the Chilean capital, Santiago. Holding a Master’s in Transportation and Logistics from the ENPC (Paris), Charles spent 3 years with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees as a logistics officer, stationed first in Burundi, then Guinea and Mali. After this experience in Africa he returned to Paris, where he spent 3 years as a training officer at the Association de Formation Transport (AFTRAL). Charles was then recruited by AFI to train their Logistics staff, and after 3 years in this role he moved over to Air France Consulting as a senior consultant for logistics and maintenance. 9 years later he joined AFI KLM E&M as a Sales manager for Africa. Charles’ free time is spent with family and friends, along with as much travel, reading and sports as he can fit in! His motto: “Listen to the customer, learn from the customer, and you’ll keep the customer.”
