xCelle brings top-flight Nacelles support to the Americas

In 2021, AFI KLM E&M extended its Aerostructures know-how to the American continent with the set up of xCelle Americas, created in partnership with Triumph. Benefiting from a centralized location combined with excellent responsiveness and innovation, this new regional center of expertise dedicated to the latest-generation engine nacelles offers “best-in-class” support for airlines operating in the Americas.

"Certified" support for cutting-edge products

This offer applies to the nacelles of new-generation fleets, in particular those of the Boeing 787 (Trent 1000 and GEnx), the 737 Max (LEAP-1B) and the A320neo (LEAP-1A). For LEAP-1A nacelles, xCelle Americas is benefiting from the license agreement recently signed between AFI KLM E&M and the OEM, allowing it to support airlines in the American market with a level of quality and reliability that is acknowledged by the OEM.

As a member of the AFI KLM E&M global MRO network, xCelle Americas is imbued with the airline-MRO mindset that sets the Group apart.

“This dual experience as an operator and maintenance provider is the cornerstone of our differentiation, and a source of added value for our customers – for whom we systematically strive to secure operations while also optimizing costs. In particular, wherever possible our teams will always favor repairs rather than the purchase of expensive new parts, incorporating creative and adaptive solutions on a case-by-case basis in order to reduce the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) of nacelles.”

"Glocal" solutions

For an airline, performance levels of nacelle support are measured not just by the quality of solutions provided, but also by the speed at which they can be delivered – when a nacelle incident occurs, every minute counts. From its facilities in Hot Springs, Arkansas, xCelle Americas is able to deploy its services across the entire American continent and beyond, thanks to the On-Wing/On-site capabilities of its teams. These teams are ready and on hand to support customers in the event of an AOG or urgent request, with assets and spare parts located in several strategic locations in order to reduce logistics timeframes and costs. All these resources are brought into play in order to ensure support services that combine proximity with responsiveness, and local presence with global reach.
